And THEN she said...
Who: LSP and Trowa Barton
When: June 11th, a bit before noon.
Where: The Lodge
What: Linda indoctrinates Trowa into the finer points of social interaction
Warnings: Is LSP her own warning? She should be.
Trowa probably could have asked for something more elaborate than a turkey sandwich and an apple--actually, considering how much hungrier he was than he'd thought, he probably should have. It was a pretty good turkey sandwich, though.
Reflecting on the overall pleasantness of being able to whatever he wanted more or less whenever he wanted was nice too--he wasn't really a sentimentalist, but there are some things you just find yourself appreciating once in a while, and this was one of those times.
Coming before the actual lunch rush had been a good idea. He didn't mind his fellow campers, but they were a little bit much sometimes.
That was probably more him than them, though.

Normally LSP would wait for lunch; after all, it was hard to interact with her friends if her friends weren’t, like, there you know? Never one to enjoy being alone, LSP wasn’t really into sitting in a corner by herself and eating a plain old turkey sandwich. I mean, what’s the fun in that? Think about life like that turkey sandwich. You can either A. Take the sandwich as is. It’s okay like this, but not great. Just sort of ‘meh’. Or, you can go with option B. Put some mustard on that mathematical bastard. Spice it up a little! Don’t let life just be; make it something better.
But as it is, she really was lumping starving and spicing up life would wait until after she devoured this delicious ham and cheese sandwich (on rye- how’s that for mixing things up).
Plate in one hand, LSP zeroed in on the one occupied table in the hall. Oh, good. She wouldn’t be eating alone after all.
“Hey, like, mind if I sit here?”

He eyed her a bit suspiciously, but after a moment he shook his head, his mouth full of sandwich.
No, it's fine, was the intended message.
A few seconds later he swallowed, freeing his mouth to speak.
"But what's glob?"

"You don't know about the Modest Church of Glob? Wow, you need to like, get out more."
Huh, what a weirdo. LSP picked her sandwich up and took a bite, her pointy teeth making little work of it. "So like," LSP spoke through her bites. "-what's your name? We've never like, talked or anything."

Finally he answered. "Probably."
It's not like it was untrue. The travelling circus went a lot of places, but it all pretty much looked the same if you didn't leave the fairgrounds.
And speaking of the circus, those teeth... were... weird. Maybe not as weird as some people at the circus, but definitely weird.
"I'm Trowa."

"So like, just from me to you-" LSP gave him a critical look over sandwich, switching to serious business mode in the span of a beat. "-you hear anything interesting around camp lately? I like, have to know. For reasons."
Subtlety is her one of her best features, right after modesty.
